Summer Camp Programs

Many exciting adventures await your children at this year’s Summer Camp Programs!

Children between the ages of 5 and 12 will participate in a variety of activities, including historical interpretation, feeding the livestock, fishing, cooking in the historic homes, singing and dancing, playing historic games, textile work, crafts, schoolhouse lessons, woodworking, “puddling” in West Africa, and many more.

While we may send your child home a little dirty and a little tired, they'll also come home with a better appreciation for what life was like in the past.

We advise campers to wear clothing that is appropriate for messy and wet outdoor activities, and to wear comfortable closed-toe shoes too (NO FLIP-FLOPS!).  It also never hurts to have a back up set of clothes (especially socks), and we strongly encourage everyone to leave their electronic devices at home, as there will not be time to play on them and we do not have a place to keep them secure.

Early drop-off and late pick-up is being offered again this year for an additional $50 per week, with drop off beginning at 8 a.m., and last pick up at 5 p.m. each day.  If you are interested in this option, you may opt in during regular summer camp registration.

Spaces are limited, so register soon!!
